The Tonawanda Valley Federal Credit Union wanted to increase engagement with, and loan applications from, their membership. Using Triggerpoint, Marketing Tech’s marketing automation platform, the credit union was able to engage their members through a multi-channel communication effort including direct mail, landing pages and email communications.
The campaign began by sending a postcard or an email to members. The postcard contained a QR code and an internet address which directed members to visit a personalized landing page with more information on the promotion. The email version was sent to members that had opted in for electronic communications and contained a link to the personalized landing page. Once the member visited the landing page, they were engaged with pre-qualifying questions, additional information, and a call to action. Also included in the campaign was a “non-responder” component, which triggered an additional email later in the campaign cycle to those who had not engaged.
